Envelop
The material is poured directly into a pack. It flows around every cell and becomes a protective layer.
Technology
High-power batteries fail first as heat. Rovilus treats temperature as the product—not an afterthought.
When industrial packs run hard, trapped heat shortens life, cuts performance, and can start thermal runaway. Conventional paraffin phase-change materials store heat, but move it too slowly.
Rovilus uses a proprietary dielectric PCM with roughly ten times the thermal conductivity of paraffin, paired with liquid cooling that surrounds the pack instead of weaving between cells.
How it works
The material is poured directly into a pack. It flows around every cell and becomes a protective layer.
As it cools, it solidifies. During operation it takes heat from the cells and keeps the field even.
A compact liquid circuit around the module carries heat out—without a maze of tubing between cells.
Two ways in
The thermal management system can drop into an existing pack architecture. We also build a standard battery module with the system already inside—designed for rapid installation.
Partners can license the TMS, specify a complete module, or work with us on non-recurring engineering and custom powertrain integration.
